On Tuesday 29th May, our 6th Class students officially graduated from the Junior School in the presence of their families and members of staff.  During a beautiful and poignant ceremony, the girls led us in prayer and thanks for their past school years, and they also looked forward to the next part of their Loreto journey.

This very special ceremony celebrated the growth and development that has taken place, the friendships formed and strengthened and the learning that has taken place.

As part of Graduation a reflective Ceremony of Light took place.  The girls were offered: The Light of Wisdom, the Light of Love, the Light of Faith, the Light of Memory and the Light of Hope, to carry forward in their lives.

We celebrated that, while each student is unique, with her own gifts and talents, she is also part of a wider community.  The Class of 2018 has served our school community well during the year.  Each student fulfilled her prefecting responsibility with fairness and dedications.  Each girl was presented with a Loreto Prayer book and Loreto pendant to mark her graduation.  Afterwards, thanks to our Parent Association, we enjoyed light refreshments together, with time for photographs and chat.

Both parents and staff are so proud of the Class of 2018.  The students are well prepared for the next phase of their educational journey.  We wish them well as they move to Secondary School, ready for the new adventures and challenges that await them.
