Last week in our school we had a mobile planetarium. It looked a bit like a blown up tent. Our presenter was telling us about star constellations. My two favourites were Leo and Leo Minor. Leo was a fully grown lion and Leo Minor was a lion cub. Our presenter also told us how Pluto is no longer a planet because Pluto doesn’t have a proper orbit around the Sun which all the other planets have. Then we watched the movie. It was really amazing. It was about life on earth and if there was another planet with life on it. They said even the tiniest drop of life could mean everything! They were also showing us how they got robots on Mars and how many years it took for them to design the robot and how long the robot took to get to Mars. Even when it gets to Mars it’s not over yet as the robot will have to take samples and pictures and then investigate them to see if there is the faintest form of life. It was truly amazing, but when we thought it was over the presenter said they had a pet great white shark called Fred so he turned on the camera again and showed us a great white shark. It was actually really scary because the shark kept swimming at our faces. But we knew it was just a joke!
