National Art Gallery
1st Class visit
Wednesday, May 4, 2016 - 11:00 - 12:00

I went to the National Art Gallery with my class. I saw Leonardo da Vinci's drawings. He used chalk to draw them. Leonardo da Vinci got his name because he had no second name and he lived in a village called Vinci in Italy. He was an inventor, an artist and a scientist. He lived 500 years ago.

We saw the painting by Pablo Picasso called "Still Life with Mandolin" that we copied. We also saw paintings by Monet and Van Gogh.  The Gallery is 150 years old. Afterwards, we all got an activity workbook filled with lots of games and puzzles.
