5th Class visit Marsh's Library to do 10 engineering work stations in groups of 3. We had 3 minutes at each to complete the tasks.

Junior & Senior Infants take a coach to Imaginosity to do a workshop on circuits. See news for details.

3rd Class design a boat out of plastercine to carry people (peas). The best boat carries 167!

6th Class walk to Sir John Rogerson's Quay to see the naval vessel LE Ciara . See news for details.

2nd Class learn about damp and how it rises up our buildings(of sugar cubes). We can slow down the damp rising by putting kitchen roll between the first and second cube. We stopped it by puting plastic.

4th Class build a hovercraft with a CD, balloon and bottle top. We move it by air. It moves best on smooth surfaces where is less friction.

1st Class learn triangles are stronger than squares and good for building. We use marshmallows and cocktail sticks to make a strong, tall building.
