Doodle for Google 2015

On Monday 20th April, Freyja, Enda, Miss Burke and Ms St. Ledger went to the Google Offices on Barrow Street for the Doodle 4 Google prize giving.

Both Freyja and Enda were finalists in Category 3 (4th, 5th and 6th class) of the competition.  It is a major achievement considering there were 5058 entries overall, 1080 schools entered and 140,000 public votes were cast.

Freyja was the overall winner of Category 3 - massive congratulations Freyja! 

We had a great day exploring the Google building.  We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the girls at home and at school and a very special thank you to all those who voted for Freyja and Enda. 

Well done to both girls.  We are so proud of you.
