Junior & Senior Infants trip
Wednesday, April 20, 2016 - 09:00 - 13:37

We went to the National Centre for Blind Children in Drumcondra. We learned how much harder it is for children who can't see to do things that we can do, like getting dressed and playing with toys. We put on special glasses which helped us to see what it feels like when you cannot see properly. We also got to see the new library which has been recently opened. We were shown a braille machine and had our names written out in braille. We got a copy of the alphabet to take home. Afterwards we got to feed the animals and help brush the horses.

We all had a really good day.
