Biodiversity

Biodiversity
3rd Class
Tuesday, May 14, 2019 (All day)

Mark visited our classroom for the day today to teach us about biodiversity-why it is so important and why it is in danger. We played a game called biodiversity blocks and afterwards we went outside to look at the plants we have in the school yard. He pointed out Scarlett Pimpernells, Forget me knots and wildflowers. We drew an aerial map of our school and looked at ways we can help plants and animals for the future. We also planted sunflowers in flower pots that we made from newspapers and we learned how to take care of them. It really was a brilliant day.
