3rd class trip for Science Week

3rd class trip for Science Week
Water Workshops
Tuesday, November 8, 2016 - 13:00 - 14:34

Science is very important because it explains how the world works. Science Week is from the 13th-20th of November. For Science Week we went on a trip to Pearse St. Library. In there we did four experiments. One was floating a paper clip on water because the water has surface tension. We learned how much water we use doing everyday things like taking a shower, washing our car etc. We saw how water comes from the water tower into our houses, into the attic and down through the pipes. We saw how the water moves underground and goes to rivers and lakes.  We also learned that we need to save water because imagine all the people in the world right now using water! So save water!
